Parenting shouldn’t end
when relationships do.
More than a million children have no contact whatsoever with one of their parents after separation. Unfortunately, some children experience behavioural issues including antisocial behaviour, distress, unhappiness, and both physical and emotional problems.
NACCC is the only charity in the UK dedicated to solving this problem by providing safe spaces where children can meet the parents they don’t live with. We oversee around 350 contact centres across the UK, run by a network of nearly 4,000 volunteers.
First opening its doors in 1993, for more than twenty five years the Centre on Rose Hill has provided a safe, friendly, neutral environment for hundreds of children from separated families to spend some quality time with their non-resident parent (and sometimes other family members).
Its child-centred environment provides toys, games and facilities that reflect the diverse needs of children affected by family breakdown.
Chesterfield Child Contact Centre was the 21st Contact Centre to be set up in England and Wales. During that time the Centre has played host to hundreds of families, helping to rebuild vital relationships between parents and children.
